While the rain meant that Newcastle Jets fans weren’t able to come along to the Club’s season launch on Saturday, the corporate launch did go ahead.
A total of 40 jerseys were presented to players across the Club’s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League teams, with Young Socceroo Angus Thurgate the only omission due to his international commitments.

Some legends of Newcastle football were on hand to present jerseys to both sides, with Phi Dando, Ryan Griffiths, Daniel McBreen and Cheryl Salisbury were on hand to assist Ernie Merrick and Craig Deans during the afternoon’s proceedings.
