The Newcastle Jets will take on the Central Coast Mariners in a pre-season F3 Derby clash at Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium in Mudgee on Saturday, September 20.
The fixture will provide the Jets with their final pre-season hit out against Hyundai A-League opposition before their opening match of the 2014/15 campaign against the Mariners at Bluetongue Stadium on October 11.
“The match against Central Coast is another important part of our preparations for the upcoming A-League season,” Jets head coach Phil Stubbins said.
“It will be a good hit out for both teams and a chance to see what we can expect when we play each other in that first match of the season.
“We’re looking forward to arriving in Mudgee and testing ourselves against the Mariners.”
