A-League: Home and away kit unveiled!

HOME AND AWAY KITS

We’re excited to unveil our brand-new playing kits for the upcoming Hyundai A-League season, with plenty for everyone to enjoy!

As has been the case since the 2011/12 season, blue once again is the predominant colour on a slick new home kit.

There’s a tip of the cap to that which came before too, with a gold pinstripe adorning the front of the kit.

In fact, the front of the kit is an area to keep your eye on with a sponsor set to be announced in the coming weeks!

HOME KIT

If you pick up a copy of FIFA 21 in the next few days, you might notice Inspirations Paint on the front of our home kit.

As a long-term front of shirt sponsor on the away and alternate kits dating back to the 2015/16 season, we thought it was only fitting that we say thanks by giving them pride of place in the interim until our new home shirt sponsor is confirmed.

One for fans of the old favourite, our away jersey has it all.

A gold kit with navy pinstripes, it’s the first time since the 2017/18 season that a Newcastle kit has been predominantly gold.

AWAY KIT

With navy shorts to match, it’s a smart kit which harks back to the days of the likes of Griffiths and Carle, Thompson and Musialik. It’s one that Jets fans young and old will be able to enjoy.

Newcastle Jets CEO, Lawrie McKinna, said the Club was thrilled with the playing kits for the upcoming season.

“Our Apparel Partner, Viva, have nailed it with a pair of brilliant kits which we’re proud to be able to reveal to our Jets Members and fans,” McKinna said.

“This is the fourth year of our partnership with Viva, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of the gear they produce for us year in, year out.

“We listened to the feedback from our Members and fans, and we’ve made gold a big part of our kits this season which will make a lot of people very happy.”

Details regarding when and where the kits can be purchased will be released soon.

Also to be released in the not-too-distant future is our alternate kit, which Newcastle football fans of yesteryear will very much enjoy…
