The squad is in for Friday night’s huge clash with Sydney FC and it’s one which Craig Deans has tinkered with as little as possible.
The one big omission from the selected 16 is Katie Stengel, who faces a stint sidelined after scans confirmed she’s suffered a stress fracture in her foot.
It’s a big loss for the Jets, who are also without Taylor Smith in the final third due to her season-ending ACL injury.
One woman who will return to the side is Larissa Crummer, who missed out on Monday due to suspension after a red card against Perth some three weeks ago.
She’ll provide a level head to the defence which conceded twice in injury time last weekend, which was missing Cassidy Davis in its final minutes after she went off with injury.
It’s nothing which will keep her away from the pitch this weekend though – Davis is likely to retain her spot in the starting XI and potentially continue to forge a blossoming partnership with Crummer in the back line.
