Craig Deans has today named an extended 16-man squad for Sunday’s game against the Mariners at Ausgrid Stadium.
Craig Deans, who will coach the Jets A-League team this Sunday before handing over to newly appointed head coach Gary van Egmond on Monday, has today named an extended 16-man squad for Sunday-s game against the Mariners at Ausgrid Stadium.
Deans confirmed striker Ruben Zadkovich, who missed last weekend-s game due to the flu, will return to the starting XI for the F3 Derby match.
“For a derby game, people with Ruben-s characteristics are important,” Deans said.
“He will come into the starting team and I will take a close at training on Friday and Saturday to finalise the eleven.”
Deans isn-t sure at this stage who will make way for Zadkovich-a return.
“There are two or three players that I could go either way with, it is up to them to prove at training over the next few days that they should be in the starting side,” Deans added.
